BioI live by lake Michigan. It's one of the great lakes (Superior, Ontario, Huron, Erie). I like the combination of living in not a small town but rather a city, but not one of the largest cities where urban problems like traffic become unbearable.
I like also the climate here ( kind of like south of Russia) and there are many outdoors activities which we enjoy on a regular basis - skiing, skating, sledding, mushroom picking, rock climbing. We try to go out a lot and enjoy the nature. I guess it's not as cool as going out to clubs and bars all the time, but we do this as well as other things. I like and try as much to travel, dance, read.
I also happen to be a perpetual student. Happily, this situation is not that bad: it pays, I get to finish degrees and work every couple years, and I like to pursue everything that I can handle, hoping that it pays off in the end.
I am a biologist, my current work is in yeast genetics and molecular biology.
I came from Moscow upon graduating high school at 15. I am half Jewish and half Belorus. My parents lived in SE Moscow and I was born there. I have a younger brother. I try new things and try to improve myself. I am interested now in going to law school.
